North Greenwich Arena
North Greenwich Arena built for the Millennium celebrations, it has been transformed into a sports and entertainment arena with shops, restaurants and more which is opened to the public in June 2007. Also North Greenwich Arena is known as O2 Arena. During the London 2012 Olympic Games, North Greenwich Arena will host Artistic Gymnastics, Basketball, Trampoline finals and a few weeks later Wheelchair Basketball during the Paralympic Games. Works going on for instalation of temporary items such as tents, cabins, signage, services and equipment in and around the North Greenwich Arena for London Olympic Games 2012. After the Games the North Greenwich Arena will revert to being a multi-faceted music, sports and entertainment venue.

Location: The venue is situated on the point of the Greenwich peninsula, right on the Meridian Line.

Total Capacity: 20,000.
Dates Gymnastics (artistic): Days 1 – Days 11 (28 July – 7 August).
Gymnastics (trampoline): Days 7 – Days 8 (3 August – 4 August).
Basketball: Days 12 – Days 16 (8 August – 12 August).
